Help, answers, and a real person on the other end of the email.

About The App

TCG Trivia is a trivia game about trading card games, published by TJ The Programmer for iPhone and Android. It ships with 762 questions across 11 question packs, covering Magic, Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Elestrals, One Piece, Final Fantasy, and Gundam. The app is free to play on both platforms, is supported by ads, and offers optional in-app purchases.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I restore my purchases?

Open Settings inside the app and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple Account or Google Account you originally bought with. Restoring brings back one-time purchases such as Remove Ads, question packs, and cosmetic unlocks. Coin packs are consumable — they are spent when you use them and cannot be restored.

Purchases do not carry across platforms. The App Store and Google Play are separate stores with separate payment records, so something bought on iPhone cannot be restored on Android, or the other way round.

If a restore does not bring back something you paid for, email support with the receipt from Apple or Google and it will be sorted out manually.

A question has the wrong answer. How do I report it?

The app has a built-in question reporter. At the end of a round, open the answer review screen, find the question, and tap Report a problem underneath it. That sends the question, the answer marked correct, and the answer you picked straight to us — no typing required.

Reports are the fastest way to get a bad question fixed, and every one of them gets read. If you would rather send it by email, include the question text and what you believe the correct answer should be.

How do I remove the ads?

Open Settings inside the app and tap Remove Ads, which takes you to the shop where you can complete the purchase. It is a one-time purchase that permanently turns off interstitial ads. Rewarded video ads are always optional and only ever play when you choose to watch one for a bonus, so they are never forced on you either way.

Already bought it on this Apple Account or Google Account? Tap Restore Purchases in Settings and the Remove Ads button will disappear.

What happens to my progress if I delete the app?

Your progress is stored locally on your device. There are no user accounts and there is no cloud save, so deleting the app deletes your high score, coins, unlocked cosmetics, and settings, and they cannot be recovered.

Purchases are the exception. Anything you bought is tied to the Apple Account or Google Account you bought with, so after reinstalling on that same platform you can tap Restore Purchases in Settings to get your one-time purchases back. If you signed in to Game Center or Google Play Games, leaderboard scores and achievements are held by Apple or Google and come back with that account.

How do I unlock a question pack without paying?

Every downloadable question pack can be unlocked with coins earned by playing. Coins come from correct answers, daily rewards, and tasks. In-app purchases are a shortcut, not a requirement.

Can I stop the app sending play data?

Yes. Open Settings inside the app and switch off "Share Anonymous Play Data", under the Privacy heading. Details of what is collected are in the privacy policy.

Which devices are supported?

TCG Trivia runs on iPhone and on Android phones. There is no iPad version at this time — the iPhone version will run on an iPad, but it is not designed for that screen.

Does my progress carry between my phone and my tablet?

No. Progress is stored on each device individually and there is no cloud save, so each install keeps its own high score, coins, and unlocks. Leaderboard scores and achievements are the exception — those live with Game Center or Google Play Games and follow that account.

I want a refund.

All purchases are processed by the store you bought from, so refunds are handled there rather than by us. On iPhone, request one at reportaproblem.apple.com using the Apple Account that made the purchase. On Android, request one through Google Play using the Google Account that made the purchase. If something in the app did not work as advertised, email support as well so it can be fixed.
