Time for a fun project that I can actually get done in a timely manner!
At the beginning of the year, I decided it was time to completely revamp the computer I've been using for the last 10 years. In doing so, I decided that it's time to do a completely new build, and I'm going to go custom water cooling, because why not. I'm hoping to keep it functional and easy to maintain at the same time.
While I have some older parts that I'm going to be using, majority of the parts are brand new, with water cooling parts from Phanteks, Alphacool, and EK.
I'm not going to list all of the parts, but here's the guts of the system:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3800x
GPU: PowerColor 6900xt Red Devil
Motherboard: Gigabyte X570 Aorus Ultra
RAM: 64GB (4x16) G.Skill Trident Z Neo @ 3600MHz
Case: Phanteks Enthoo 719
Cooling:
2 480mm (4x 120mm) Alphacool slim rads
1 360mm (1x 120mm) Alphacool 45mm rad
13 Phanteks SK DRGB 120 fans
Phanteks D140 distribution plate
As you can see above, all three radiators fit, but just barely. You can't really stuff any more than this without running into a lot of issues. I'm going to need to mod the case in order to get the side radiator to work properly.
