Periodic Dev Log 13

Hey everyone! Welcome back to another update on Periodic! It's been pretty slow on this update as I was out of town for the first part of the month. Anyways, here's a much needed update

TL:DR - Music update, small code update, attack plan for the end of the year!

Update - So after reading through clean code earlier this month, I've taken some of the topics to heart, specifically on refactoring and the "Boy Scouts Rule" where you leave the campground cleaner than when you found it. Some of the code that I wrote over a year ago, looking back on it was a great experience, but it turns out that it's actually a little more clean writing it without the C# events for this specific case.

A lot of other code is needing this kind of treatment, as I haven't found a good way to make some of the systems scale the way I need them to at this point. I'll be sure to post an update as I do!

As for music, a friend of mine has been working on it, and it's starting to sound great. Electro/chiptune is the way to go!

What's Next - The goal for the end of the year is to have at least two levels playable. If I can hit one of those I'm going to be extremely happy, but there's no guarantee on that.
