Periodic Dev Log 14

Hey everyone! Welcome back to another update on Periodic! Another slow update, but things are finally calming down and I can push forward!

TL:DR - New system prototyped for use in-game

Update - So with the new music being worked on and trickling in, I finally got around to prototyping the setup for how music is going to be working in game.

The system I've setup currently requires multiple audio tracks, but what it allows me to do is set an intro and then start playing a looping track until a trigger is hit to play the next track.

What this is going to allow me to do is have the music start to progress the further someone gets through playing the level. It's not a perfect setup now, and since the tracks are long enough, it might take a second before the track finishes to skip to the next one.

Other than that, it was tested, and it seemed to work right away! Going to be doing some level design over the next couple weeks, and should have an update in October for it... Where did this year go?

What's Next - Like before, the goal for the end of the year is to have at least two levels playable. If I can hit one of those I'm going to be extremely happy, but there's no guarantee on that.
